Welcome to Ahaa!
says Chief Conductor Hugh Gibbons.

If you're a thoughtful sort, interested in the human side of things, you'll find much in this website to intrigue and interest you.

Ahaa! is a good psychology association for non-psychologists (ie me and probably you) wherever they're found.

I've always tried hard to make it likeable, offbeat, refreshing, and brain- and heart-warming.

So Ahaa! has been a sort of garden fence over which people in many different disciplines can exchange experience and ideas.

And a natural home for lateral-thinkers.

We like to help unlike - and unlikely - minds meet up. Ahaa has a unique history of staging open meetings that help people understand what makes individuals  and organisations tick - professionally and personally.  And you.  Most attenders have been non-psychologists - except in the amateur sense: directors, managers, executives, PAs and others; in corporate or line jobs; in all sorts of private and public sector organisations.

Since 1994 - when Ahaa! was the unpronounceable PsyPhaa - they've had a cheery range of about 150 animated meetings hosted by leading organisations in and around the Thames Valley and Central London. We bring together top-class lead talkers, eclectic agendas and topics and refreshingly well-mixed audiences - to get excellent updates and debate.

With Ahaa, wit and wisdom are givens.  That means we're distinctly different from your usual special-interest group or professional organisation - and other tribal gatherings. Wherever you're coming from, your opinions and experience are requested and respected.

There are other sides to Ahaa: for example, raising funds for good causes, and helping with psychology research.

You can also get a big range of practical and streetwise in-house workshops and talks that have been delivered to many hundreds of people.  And I have some corporate conference and other talks that'll make many an audience sit up.
