Update from Head Teacher Clare on
afternoon of Friday 16 October.
We at St Hubert's did
the Standup at Church last week using the prayers as bidding prayers and
collecting signatures after Mass. We did the same thing in a family
assembly today, while the parish joined us at their Mass today and used
the pledges as bidding prayers. We have collected loads of signatures
which we are sending to Gordon Brown and John Spellar MP. It felt great to
be doing something. Altogether, we reckon 600 people have taken part.
St Andup says: we at OfStand have a new classification: Exceptional! Thanks and Well Done to everyone taking part. |
