Creator and Conductor of Just1
Hugh is a sort of human Swiss Army knife. He
took the scenic route through his business career. This allowed him
to pick up a wide variety of communication skills, many of which get
applied in Just1 and other activities: letters, posters, press releases,
this and other webpages and websites, broadcasts, articles, and public
talks.

The aims of Just1 StandUps? For those of you who like that sort of thing, here's
the sort of thing you'll like - though you may find they bring a bit of a
difference. Click
here to find some aims and purposes.
Funding of Just1 StandUps? Deliberately, hardly any. The activities are low-cost:
a bit of paper mailing; a lot of nudging by e-mail; some phone calls.
There's no mass distribution of material, because this is available to
download and print as you want. And Hugh's time is free - a gift to
everyone.
A little funding comes from Hugh's
personal pocket as a pensioner. And in 2009, any fees from
Hugh's public speaking have gone into the StandUp pot. Like the Queen, he
never discusses money, but very many thanks to: Tadley CSRF; Ockham WI;
Probus Old Beaconsfield; Wokingham Council Older People's Groups;
Hampshire Blind meeting at Holy Trinity Aldershot; Woking Maybury Women's
Club; Chiltern U3A; West Byfleet Evergreen Club; Wokingham U3A;
Wantage CWL, and others.
