  St Andup says Very many thanks to Bishop John Rawsthorne for lighting up Hallam by declaring it a StandUp Diocese. And to everyone taking part. Hallam Diocese was founded in 1980 by the division of the Dioceses of Leeds and Nottingham. It consists of the County of South Yorkshire, parts of the High Peak and Chesterfield Districts of Derbyshire, and the District of Bassetlaw in Nottinghamshire, under the patronage of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Among his many roles, Bishop John is Chair of CAFOD - giving him a special connection with Just1 StandUps whose origin was in CAFOD Portsmouth.
