If you like the StandUps idea, you could do the school or college some good by making sure that others around you are aware of this great opportunity to show what they too stand for.

This especially applies if you're in a StandUp Diocese or another faith community. Just1 will be writing directly to your leaders for them to pass on the information to schools - so they'll know what many non-faith schools won't necessarily get to hear about.

So you can help spread to the good word - and do some good for both yourselves and other schools.  It'll be much-appreciated.

Keep it eco-friendly.  Consider a simple e-mail or phone call - just drawing attention to this website www.just1.org.uk/standups.  This might be to:

  • other local schools or colleges at a similar level to you
  • schools or colleges where pupils move on to (eg secondary)
  • schools that send their with pupils to you (eg primary or prep)

Sometimes schools have connections or something in common with others across the country. (How many hundreds of Catholic schools are called St Joseph's?!) In that case, think of making sure they know what you're up to.

And then how about...

  • Overseas schools with which you have contact?  Oh yes.
  • Former pupils of the schools?  Oh yes.
  • And youth groups?  Oh yes.
